Over 160 students participated in a Bowl-a-Thon on Saturday, November 12, to raise money to purchase gifts for the Holiday Hope for Kids party at Lakeland HS. It was a fun filled afternoon and a testament to the volunteer spirit that exists in the Huron Valley Schools. Special thanks to Mr. Scott Rolando for organizing and coordinating this 41st annual event.
On Thursday, 11/17, Olivia Shay & Sammy Verbick traveled to the 2016 Michigan Business Education Association annual convention in Grand Rapids where they presented to a group of business teachers from around the state, promoting the VEI program, along with Mrs. Schmitt. They did an excellent job (thank you ELA teachers!) and received compliments from all attendees!
