LHS recognized 26 students for the first annual “Turnaround Award.” These students were selected because they have made tremendous life changes; redirecting their academic, social, and emotional bearing for a positive future. HVS Superintendent Jim Baker had the following to say about this new LHS initiative: “I want each of you to know how proud I was of this morning's recognitions and how honored I was to be a part of the event. In my 20(+) years in education, I cannot remember a more meaningful and important event for the students, their families and for a school community. Thank you to each of you who played any part in today's Turnaround Awards - what a wonderful morning!” Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients. LHS is proud of your accomplishments! |
